Giving thanks

Everyone at Stark Women’s Center would like to thank our community and patients for your support during the past year. These are trying times for sure and it has been our pleasure and a privilege to be your health care provider.

We also would like to recognize our staff for all their efforts and sacrifices while taking care of our patients and keeping them safe. We are proud and thankful for their expertise and dedication.

The power of gratitude

Studies support the relationship between a positive attitude and better health. Focusing on kindness, being grateful for the good in life, and appreciating others leads to feelings of well-being, better health and greater happiness. This year—this holiday season—with so many struggling and feeling isolated, giving thanks for what we have rather than focusing on what we don’t have is more important than ever.

Take time to appreciate those you encounter. Your smile may be hidden behind a mask, but a sincere greeting or compliment will light up your eyes and their day. Look for acts of kindness and opportunities to thank others for those acts.

Your holiday celebration may look different this year, but revel in the experience you have and be grateful for the promise of better days ahead and your ability to impact how you pursue them.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone
